2006年下半年,建设部《对清理建设领域拖欠工程款工作中有关问题的处理意见》下达,这无疑是一缕春风,之后,曾培炎副总理又在全国清欠工作电视电话会议上指出,要按照社会主义市场经济体制的要求,加强法规和制度建设,健全长效机制,强化合同监督管理和信用体系建设,逐步规范市场各方主体行为,维护投资和建设市场秩序,从根本上解决建设领域拖欠工程款和农民工工资问题。农民工为城市繁荣默默无闻地奉献着。在城市里,他们从事着最脏最累的劳动,吃着最差的伙食,拿着最低的工资,当他们在月末或是年终连工资也拿不齐时,他们还有多少希望不被现实击破。如今,农民工的工资问题基本得到解决了,可一系列的权益保障机制还没有健全,我们呼吁,我们期待。在编辑本期稿件时,编者很欣慰地看到了农民工的笑容,但愿这些笑容常在。
