水溶性咪唑啉衍生物是一种新的缓蚀剂,对于碳钢、铜、黄铜、铝、铝合金具有优良的缓蚀能力。这类绥蚀剂无特殊刺激性气味,热稳定性好,毒性低,添加浓度低,使用后易从金属表面上清洗干净。其分子结构中包含有脂肪长链、硫、氮等活性基团。在酸性溶液中,它可以在金属表面形成单分子吸附层或双电层以改变氢离子的氧化还原电位,也可以络合溶液中某些氧化剂,如:二价铜离子(Cu~(2+)),降低它的电位来达到缓蚀目的。由于有多种缓蚀因素协同作用,故缓蚀效果较显著。一、缓蚀性能
