In order to study the strength characteristics (creep-fatigue alternation performance) of components made of metallic materials under operating conditions, we designed and manufactured a simple periodic automatic control device, shown in Figure 1. The whole device weighs about 35 kg and the load-bearing screw can bear the weight of 1000 kg. The device can load the sample by sawtooth wave or trapezoidal wave and has various alarm and signal and digital display systems of phase failure, breakage and loss of control.
