1992年1月17日,清华大学校报《新清华》用头版上半个版的篇幅,发表了力博1班同学致钱学森学长的信和钱学森给力博1班的复信,以及有关的报道,在清华园中引起了热烈的反响。有些学生班级举办了团日、班会,一些读者投书校报,畅谈读钱老复信的感受。校报《新清华》组织了“读钱学森复信,论治学与人生”主题讨论,发表了从本科生到研究生各个年级同学的近10篇感想、体会,现任副校长兼教务长的原力学系主任余寿文教授也撰写文章参加了讨论。围绕着钱老与力博1班同学通信中提出的有关学业、科研和人生道路等重要问题,两代清华人在思想上产生了共鸣!
January 17, 1992, Tsinghua University Newspaper “New Tsinghua” with the front page of the first half of the length, published a class Leibo classmates to Xuexian Sen seniors letter and Qian Xuesen to Lieber 1 complex letter, and the related reports, Tsinghua Park in aroused a warm response. Some students held class days, class meetings, some readers voted for the school newspaper, and talked about the feelings of reading old money and letters. The school newspaper “New Tsinghua University” organized a discussion on the theme of “Reading Qian Xuesen, On Scholarship and Life”, and published nearly 10 thoughts and experiences from undergraduates and postgraduates at all grades. The current vice president and dean of the Department of Mechanics Yu Shouwen also wrote an article to participate in the discussion. The two generations of Tsinghua people resonated in their thinking on the important issues raised in their communication concerning the fields of study, scientific research and life around the communication between Qian Lao and Liebo Class 1 students!
