中国共产党是中国工人阶级的先锋队,中华人民共和国是以工人阶级为领导,以工农联盟为基础的人民民主专政的社会主义国家。《党章》和《宪法》明确规定了工人阶级是党的阶级基础,是国家政权的领导力量。然而,近几年来,随着对外开放的扩大和企业改革的深化,伴随生产力的发展和所有制的分化,作为党的阶级基础——工人阶级队伍正在经历一场前所未有的变革。社会上一般贱视体力劳动,否定工人阶级历史地位与伟大作用的错误思潮在逐步泛滥,致使党的阶级基础面临严重削弱的危险,必须引起各级党委和政府的高度重视。
The Chinese Communist Party is the vanguard of the Chinese working class and the People’s Republic of China is a socialist country under the people’s democratic dictatorship led by the working class and based on the alliance of workers and peasants. The “Constitution of the Party” and the “Constitution” clearly stipulate that the working class is the party’s class basis and the leading force of the state power. However, in recent years, with the expansion of the opening up to the outside world and the deepening of enterprise reform, with the development of productive forces and the differentiation of ownership, the party’s class foundation, the working class, is going through an unprecedented change. The erroneous trend of thought, which generally neglects the manual labor and negates the historical status and great role of the working class, has gradually caused the party’s class foundation to be severely weakened. Therefore, the party committees and governments at all levels must attach great importance to it.
