The basic approach to enhancing open pit mining is to carry out technological transformations, but many difficulties are encountered in economic justification of technological transformation. At present, there are two ways to determine the economic effects of new technologies and new processes: one is the calculation of the economic effect of investment in infrastructure; the other is the calculation of the economic effect of using new technologies in national economy to create inventions and rationalization proposals.
