2002年是首都北京绿化美化建设的关键年。总的指导思想是:以邓小平理论和江泽民总书记“三个代表”重要思想为指导,全面贯彻党的十五届六中全会和市委八届八次会议精神,以“绿色奥运”为主题,加快绿化美化建设步伐,继续推进三大体系(高标准的生态体系、高效益的绿色产业体系和高水平的森林资源安全保障体系)建设,构筑三道(即城市隔离地区、平原、山区)绿色生态屏障,提升绿化美化水平,加大绿化美化速度,至2008年把北京基本建成生态城市。
2002 is the key year for Beijing’s afforestation and beautification in Beijing.
