The investment in health education business funds is an important condition for guaranteeing the smooth progress of health education activities and directly affects the development of health education. According to the survey on the use of funds for health education institutions at or above the county level in 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government in 1991, health The proportion of education business funds to health expenditure is 0.28%, which is far from the 3% to 5% of WHO’s budget for health education in developing countries, which is inconsistent with the strategic focus of health work in China. Through the investigation of Haining’s health education business funding from 1993 to 1996, we proposed countermeasures to give full play to the role of various social sectors and raise funds for health education in various ways.
