黄沙古道,驼铃叮当,一株骆驼草在特写镜头中显现了,随着片名以绿色的字体推出。这是八一厂新片《骆驼草》的开头。这个开头别有特色。首先,骆驼草表现出了影片中地理环境的特点。剧情是描写我军五十年代一批青年科研人员,献身国防科学,在西北戈壁滩上安家创业的故事。因此,强调地理环境特点,这对深化电影主题至关重要。编导没有照搬沙丘、狂风、骆驼、红柳、芨芨草等常用以体现戈壁特点的景物,没有落入俗套而是独辟蹊径,在骆驼草上大做文章,给人耳目一新之感。这又对形象地刻画人物起到烘托作用。
