许多传统工艺美术被过去的计划经济观念束缚着行业的发展,中国工艺美术行业一直缺乏与市场经济相适应的体制和政策,为此停滞不前,甚至很多行业正面临着失传与消失。从2008年奥运,到世博,到刚过去的亚运,传统工艺美术行业得以迅速发展,中国元素成为全球设计的潮流,让全世界人为中国传统工艺而震撼,也让本土年轻一代重新认识传统工艺美术的魅力,传承工艺,让传统工艺美术走向市场,走出国门,走向世界。
