蔡升熙,湖南省醴陵县人,1906年2月12日生。1924年春,考入讲武学堂,1924年5月,黄埔陆军军官学校成立,讲武学堂奉命合并,蔡升熙亦随之编入黄埔军校第一期学生第六队,同年秋,在黄埔军校加入了中国共产党。1924年11月底,蔡升熙毕业后被分配到黄埔军校教导团担任下级军官,翌年7月,该团被编为国民革命军第一军,蔡升熙到第一师任营长,随部队参加北伐。1927年6月,蔡升
