One of the keys to Turkey’s success in the modernization of its legal system is that it properly deals with the problems between secular laws and religious beliefs. Turkey did not realize the entire nation’s belief in the law, but this did not prevent the establishment of the rule of law and democracy in its territory. This is undoubtedly a big blow to the current legal scholarship that “law must be believed in” as a general conclusion and the establishment of legal belief as an essential element in the realization of the rule of law. Taking Turkey as an example, it raises questions about the proposition of “legal faith”. It is hoped that the successful experience in Islamic civilizations other than Chinese and Western civilizations can give our country current legal beliefs, especially in the face of major criminal cases, bringing some diverse perspectives and different enlightenments.
