在中国卵巢癌是女性恶性肿瘤中致死最多的肿瘤之一。卵巢癌是妇科第3位常见癌,仅次于宫颈癌和子宫内膜癌。由于缺少有效的筛选方案,且患者早期无症状,故70%以上患者就诊时已为晚期,因此找到潜在的危险因素以及预防策略显得尤为重要。茶叶中含有的多酚类和黄酮类物质是一种有效的化学抗癌物质,尤其以绿茶中含量最高,国内外许多文章采用病例对照设计,通过流行病学调查问卷,得出绿茶能有效降低女性患卵巢癌的风险,而且可以延缓卵巢衰老,保护女性健康。
