近日来,一些群众持南美洲阿根廷、巴西、秘鲁等国家的旧版货币前来我行咨询、兑换。据国外有关银行提供的信息,南美国家的旧版货币价值极低。现将南美旧版货币有关情况介绍如下: 一、我行目前收兑的外币应具有以下三个条件:(1)在国际市场上可自由兑换的货币。我行收兑中国银行总行公布的美元、英镑、法国法郎,日元等22种外币;(2)具有外汇牌价。中国银行信息中心每天向社会播送上述外汇牌价;(3)现行在国外流通的货币。国外有关银行对外币的新发行及停止流通情况及时向我行提供信息。南美货币不具备以上条件,所以不在收兑范围之内。
In recent days, some people came to our bank for advice and exchange with the old currencies of South American countries such as Argentina, Brazil and Peru. According to the information provided by foreign banks, the old currencies of South American countries are of very low value. The following is a brief introduction of the old currency in South America: I. The foreign currency currently redeemed by the Bank shall meet the following three conditions: (1) The freely convertible currency in the international market. Bank of China redeems Bank of China announced the dollar, the pound, the French franc, the Japanese yen and other 22 kinds of foreign currencies; (2) with foreign exchange rates. The Bank of China Information Center broadcasts the aforesaid exchange rate to the public every day; (3) The current currency circulating abroad. Relevant foreign banks promptly provided information to our bank on the new issuance and suspension of circulation of foreign currencies. South American currency does not have the above conditions, it is not within the scope of redemption.
