电视系列片《神奇的汉字》解说词见报后,语言文字学界有较多的议论。为了听取专家学者对该片的意见,最近国家语委文字应用管理司邀请京、津地区20多位语言文字学专家、教授在北京座谈。座谈会上先放映了《神奇的汉字》的录像,接着专家们从不同角度展开了热烈的讨论。 与会专家认为,汉字问题不单纯是个学术问题,它关涉到国家语言文字工作的方针、政策。汉字是中华民族的杰出创造,有数千年的历史。作为汉民族文化的主要载体,汉字在历史上有过不可磨灭的功绩,现在我们仍在使用,今后还要继续使用下去。当前,深入地研究、全面地认识汉字,科学地、实事求是地宣传普及汉字知识是很有意义的。会上大家对于《神奇的汉字》制作者宣传汉字的工作热情和所作出的努力给予了肯定,但同时也不无遗憾地指出,该片总的来说还比较粗糙,内容上还存在比较多的毛病和值得进一步商榷的问题。例如,该片过份神化汉字,夸大汉字的功能和作用,并且不恰当地拿汉字与其他文字比较优劣,这
