望海埚,又叫望海坨子,位于大连市金州区亮甲店镇金顶山赵王屯东,是座海拔116米的丘陵,因与东海相望,故名。望海埚上有一座古城堡,建于明永乐九年(1141年),由负责辽东防务的辽东总兵官都督刘江所建。这座城堡形状如瓮,北面狭窄,南面宽大,城墙周长约200米,下部用石垒,上部为砖砌,北面有个烽火台,南面为城门,城东侧为军马营,城东南为樱桃园(即今柳树园)城堡,城堡早已被毁,但遗址尚存。
