用“夹心轧法”轧出1.3~1.8米宽的薄板

我国现有二辊式叠轧薄板轧机,只能轧出宽度在1米以下的薄钢板,即使在鞍钢的半连续式轧板机上也只能轧出宽度为1.5米以下的薄钢板。而近代制造汽车、铁路车辆,以及国防工业需用较宽的薄钢板,国内目前还不能生产。据国外杂志报道,近年来美国采用“夹心轧制法”(即以几层中板叠在一起,焊成一块中板坯,轧成钢板后再分层剥离成薄钢板),在现有中板轧机上成功地生产出宽度较大的各种钢号的热轧薄钢板。1963年下半年上钢某厂根据黑色冶金设计总院的建议,在2300中板轧机上试验“夹心轧制法”,取得了初步成功。他们采用的“夹心板叠”是:外面二块厚为25毫米的普通炭素三号钢板,中间夹四块厚为8毫米的30铬锰硅合金结构钢板,在钢板的表面上涂2毫米厚的涂料以防止粘结。他们试轧了8个“夹心板叠”,经过加热、轧制、剪边、剥离后得到厚度为0.6~1.0毫米,宽度为1.3~1.8米的薄钢板32张。经过检验,钢板的表面质量:若只经过横轧的较为平直;若经过纵轧(为 China’s existing two-roll sheet-metal rolling mill, only rolling out the width of 1 meter below the plate, even in Anshan Iron and Steel semi-continuous rolling mill can only roll out a width of 1.5 meters below the sheet.
