深圳市总工会“欢乐在鹏城”系列活动始于1995年,在每年的元旦、春节期间,全市各级工会通过送演出、送文化、送电影、送欢乐,为留深过年的劳务工带来新年的祝福和喜庆,送去党和工会的温暖与关爱。“欢乐在鹏城”系列活动迄今为止已连续举办17届,深圳市总工通过该项活动累计送出300多场新年文艺慰问演出、2000多场电影,各级工会组织举办的文艺联欢、新春游园、包饺子、球类和健身操比赛、趣味运动会、新春登高、卡拉OK比赛、书法摄影展、龙狮表演等活动上万场(次),参加职工超过2000万人(次),已成为深圳文化关爱活动一个品牌,成为传递社会正能量的舞台,多次被评选为“深圳关爱行动市民最满意项目”。
