Dural arteriovenous malformations (AVM’s) are rare vascular abnormalities that account for 10% to 15% of intracranial AVM’s, often involving the dural wall of the cavernous sinus, transverse sinus or sigmoid sinus. Dural AVM’s are particularly rare in the anterior cranial fossa, involving almost all of the dura mater of the sieve plate and the front of the falx. The authors report 8 cases, including 7 males and 1 females. Age 44 to 61 years old, average age 52 years old. Most intracranial AVM’s have mild headache or conscious intracranial murmurs, some of which are asymptomatic and cause very few intracranial hemorrhages. The incidence of intracerebral hemorrhage in anterior cranial AVM’s is very high. The group of 4 cases of stroke symptoms, epileptic seizures occurred in 1 case, two patients without intracerebral hemorrhage showed tinnitus and severe persistent
