Concrete cast-in-place piles have the advantages of small steel consumption, simple construction and low cost, and are widely used in southern China. However, it is easy to cause quality accidents such as broken piles, bottle necks, and loose concrete during construction. There have been reports of accidents involving broken piles at home and abroad. For example, in Canada, a five-story office building was newly built, that is, because the broken pile was not discovered suddenly dumping near the time of completion, the result was forced to be completely dismantled and rebuilt. Another example is the outbuilding of a cold storehouse in Guangdong Province. Due to the presence of broken piles under the foundation beam, there are significant cracks in the wall. The hidden danger caused by defective piles is particularly shallow.
