积极地防治核桃病、虫害,是保护资源、增加产量的重要环节,也是全面落实毛主席“备战、备荒、为人民”的伟大战略方针的一个重要方面。各地在防治病虫害时,必须坚持群众路线,积极开展科学试验活动,认真贯彻“予防为主,积极消灭”的方针,开展群众性予测、予报工作,本着“治早、治小、治了”的原则,因地制宜地结合经营管理进行综合防治。现将主要病虫害及防治方法介绍如下:
