In Angle Class II malocclusion correction, how to quickly open the occlusion is the key issue in the treatment. The author applied Begg appliance combined with the top flat guide plate to correct Angle Class II malocclusion and achieved satisfactory results. This article discusses its usage, application principle and other typical cases.
