嗜人按蚊是我国北纬33°以南地区主要传疟媒介之一[1]。1990年6月线会霖等首次在海南省文昌县铺前南北沟一带发现嗜人按蚊[2]，1991～1993年组织全岛性调查未发现该蚊新的分布点[2]。1991年3月开始在南北沟设点，观察该蚊的生态习性，现将初步观察结果报告如下：1．材料和方法1
