江泽民同志在党的十四大报告中指出,我国经济体制改革的目标是建立社会主义市场经济体制。社会主义市场经济体制理论,创造性地发展了马克思主义,既是对我国十四年改革开放实践的科学总结,又是对各国社会主义建设经验教训的高度概括,对于加快发展社会生产力,促进我国经济体制改革,建设有中国特色的社会主义,有着十分重大的现实意义和深远的历史意义。
Comrade Jiang Zemin pointed out in the report to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party that the goal of China’s economic structural reform is to establish a socialist market economic system. The socialist market economic system theory has creatively developed Marxism. It is not only a scientific summary of the practice of China’s reform and opening up during the fourteen years of reform and opening up, but also a high-level summary of the experiences and lessons learned from the socialist construction in all countries. It is of great significance in accelerating the development of social productive forces and promoting the economic structure of our country. To reform and build socialism with Chinese characteristics has very great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance.
