[北京,2003年10月23日]PTC 今天宣布与丰田汽车有限公司签订了一份联合开发协议,旨在扩展适用于动力系统产品设计过程的解决方案。该协议包括开发专门用于优化丰田汽车动力系统开发过程的功能。自2001年丰田汽车首次大型部署 Pro/ENGINEER 之后,现在更扩充到整个公司都使用 PTC 的解决方案来开发发动机和动力传动系统。PTC 完善的产品开发系统与丰田汽车的产品设计和开发方法高度一致,两家公司计划把 PTC 产品生命周期管理的解决方案及其服务部署到丰田汽车的整个发动机和动力传动组织中。
[Beijing, October 23, 2003] PTC today announced the signing of a joint development agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation to extend solutions for the powertrain product design process. The agreement includes the development of features specifically designed to optimize Toyota’s powertrain development process. Since the first large-scale deployment of Pro / ENGINEER in 2001, Toyota Motor Corporation has now expanded to the point where the entire company uses PTC solutions to develop engines and drivelines. PTC’s well-developed product development system is highly consistent with Toyota’s product design and development methodology and both companies plan to deploy PTC’s product lifecycle management solutions and services to Toyota Motor’s entire engine and powertrain.
