本文基于诺德的功能加忠诚理论对情景喜剧破产姐妹的字幕翻译进行了分析。根据诺德的观点,功能加忠诚理论包括两个部分:功能原则和忠诚原则。本文以美国流行情景喜剧片《破产姐妹》的字幕翻译作为素材,在功能加忠诚理论指导下讨论字幕翻译的特点和难点。笔者用描述和比较的方法对译文进行分析说明,试图证明功能加忠诚在字幕翻译中的适用性和指导意义。
This paper analyzes the subtitle translation of the sitcom bankruptcy sister based on the Nordic function plus loyalty theory. According to Nord’s point of view, the function plus loyalty theory consists of two parts: the principle of function and the principle of loyalty. This article uses the subtitle translation of the popular American comedy “Bankruptcy Sisters” as a material, and discusses the features and difficulties of subtitle translation under the guidance of the function plus loyalty theory. The author uses the method of description and comparison to analyze the translation, trying to prove the applicability and guiding significance of function plus loyalty in subtitle translation.
