美国《财富》月刊最近一项全球10佳商业城市评比中,香港和新加坡“巧换位”:香港从第一降为第六,新加坡则从第六升到第一,如何看待这一“换位”,人们饶有兴味。《财富》虽有一定权威性,但毕竟是一家之言,颇难概全,但新加坡对香港的挑战,确是一个不容忽视的现实问题,人们特别对新加坡会否取代香港金融中心地位深表关注。《远东经济评论》周刊指出,香港与新加坡角逐亚洲企业与金融中心的竞争日趋激烈。
In a recent Fortune magazine review of the world’s top 10 best commercial cities, Hong Kong and Singapore “made the switch”: Hong Kong dropped from number one to number six, while number six rose to number one in Singapore. How do you see this “change Bit ”, people are very interested. Despite its authority, the “fortune” is, after all, a word of speech that is difficult to be generalized. However, Singapore’s challenge to Hong Kong is indeed a real problem that can not be ignored. People are particularly deeply concerned about whether Singapore will overtake Hong Kong as a financial center. The Far Eastern Economic Review Weekly pointed out that the competition between Hong Kong and Singapore for competing Asian businesses and financial centers has become increasingly fierce.
