Moran油田是Assam盆地上部油田中开采时间最长的油田之一,Assam 盆地是Assam-Arakan地质区域的一部分。该油田位于印度的东北部,开发于20世纪50 年代后期,属于典型的砂岩油藏,开采层位是渐新世Barail油层组。截止到目前,该油田已采出原始地质储量的近29%,日产油达到350m3,日产油量最高时能稳定在2500 m3。近期对该油田进行更深油层的开发,发现了新的含油层,三维地震数据说明不仅渐新世油层是河道砂构造,在更深的始新世油层组也具有含油构造特征。
The Moran field is one of the longest-producing fields in the upper part of the Assam basin, which is part of the Assam-Arakan geologic area. Located in the northeastern part of India, the field was developed in the late 1950s as a typical sandstone reservoir with an Oligocene Barail reservoir. Up to now, the field has harvested nearly 29% of the original geological reserves, daily oil production reached 350m3, the maximum daily output of oil can be stabilized at 2500m3. Recently, a deeper oil layer has been developed in this field and a new oil-bearing formation has been discovered. Three-dimensional seismic data show that not only Oligoceti is a channel sand structure, but also an oil-bearing tectonic feature in the deeper Eocene oil layer.
