近十多年来,由于深海调查技术的进步,特别是采用深水潜艇进行洋底直接观察和取样,对大洋裂谷的火山作用与硫化物矿床的研究提供了崭新的途径。自从1978—1979年在东太平洋隆21°N发现一些目前正在形成的热液硫化物矿床以来,又有了一些新的发现,引起人们越来越强烈的关注。对这些热液矿床的进一步研究不仅具有潜在的经济意义,而且对阐明和验证热液环流成矿理论,也提供了可信的依据。
For more than a decade, due to the progress of deep-sea survey technology, especially the direct ocean bottom observation and sampling using deep-water submarines, it has provided a brand-new way for studying the volcanism and sulfide deposits of the oceanic rift. Some new discoveries have been made since the discovery of some currently-forming hydrothermal sulfide deposits at 1978-1979 at 21 ° N in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, attracting more and more intense attention. Further research on these hydrothermal deposits not only has potential economic significance, but also provides credible basis for elucidating and verifying hydrothermal circulation mineralization theory.
