Long-term fetal head attracting midwifery (fetal suction) is considered normal childbirth, however, fetal damage caused by fetal brain injury has become an important issue in perinatal medicine. We now from 1988 October to 1991 April we admitted due to fetal suction and CT confirmed neonatal brain injury in 55 cases analyzed as follows. 1 Clinical data 1.1 General information: 38 males and 17 females, all term infants.
