Describe a TURBOPROLOG language expert system that combines real-time measurement devices to classify faults by analyzing current and phase data. When the fault is the transmission line, the system can choose an appropriate fault location algorithm to calculate the location of the fault. This article shows the application of a combination of analog and digital expert systems in power systems.
