In the strictest sense, there is no uninterrupted AC power for computers. In AC power systems, the power characteristics depend on the load characteristics. The computer is a special load that consumes power in the form of pulses of 8.3 milliseconds or 120 pulses per second. In fact, when the computer is working, the power rectifier does not power the computer for nearly 70% of the time.
