In order to create a new situation in Chinese teaching, under the guidance of the “three orientations” spirit of reform, we effectively improve the quality of Chinese teaching. The majority of Chinese language teachers and language educators are conscientiously striving to explore, and many suggestions and ideas have been put forward. . In the third issue of “Chinese Language” in 1984, Comrade Wu Renchen’s article “On the question of changing Chinese teaching concepts in middle schools” is one of them. Wu Wen’s basic viewpoints are summed up in the following aspects: (1) Generally speaking, “students have a low level of language,” and “substantially lack the knowledge of language and writing, especially the lack of grammar, rhetoric, and logical knowledge.
