On June 5, a seminar on nuclear power safety development hosted by the National Nuclear Emergency Response Office was held in Shenzhen. The meeting aims to objectively and accurately introduce all aspects of our nuclear energy and nuclear power development policies, nuclear safety and nuclear emergency policies and capabilities to all sectors in Hong Kong and earnestly enhance the society’s confidence in the realization of long-lasting nuclear safety and the development of nuclear energy for the benefit of mankind. During the seminar, Wang Hai, project officer of the Nuclear Power Division of the National Energy Administration, pointed out that at present, 20 units under operation and 28 units under construction are in safe operation and in good condition;
