为了探讨地震前电磁辐射前兆信息出现的可能性和机制,安徽省地震局开展了地震和人工爆破电磁辐射的观测以及室内岩样破裂过程中电磁波信息接收的研究工作。经过八个月的筹备,在中国科技大学地球物理系等有关单位的支持协助下,于1982年10月完成了该项实验第一阶段的工作——单轴受压下岩样破裂与电磁辐射的实验观测。
