用数学眼光看,事物的对称是数学的均衡行为,它表现在自然、艺术、科学、建筑乃至诗歌中. 上面这张照片是世界自然遗产——我国风景胜地九寨沟的一个山坡及其在水中的倒影.在照片中的山坡与山坡在水中的倒影之间可以找到一条直线,沿这条直线折叠后,照片中的一部分(山坡)与另一部分(山坡的倒影)完全重合,那么这一对象(照片)就被认为是关于该直线轴对称,并且该直线称为对称轴.
