ALA Architects is based in Helsinki and was founded by four partners. Their cooperation began with the success of the 2004 architectural competition. In 2005, they won the first prize in the design competition of the new theater and concert hall in Kristiansand, Norway (now called the Kelton Performing Arts Center), their first major design task. In 2012, they again received the prestigious Finnish National Building Award.
