蒋捷出身官宦世家,他的祖上曾经为抗击金军而死守孤城。血脉里流传下来的英雄主义,到了他这里,幻化成另一种坚守。蒋捷中进士之后几年,南宋就灭亡于蒙古人的铁蹄下,于是他的后半生,都用在逃亡与躲藏上。他一生的词作,有许多是写在路上的,比如那首有名的《一剪梅·舟过吴江》:“一片春愁待酒浇。江上舟摇,楼上帘招……流光容易把人抛,红了樱桃,绿了芭蕉。”这是他年轻的时候,坐船经过吴江,南宋还没有亡,他的心里,单纯得只有旅途的惆怅与对家的思念。
