发散思维,又称辐射思维、放射思维、扩散思维或求异思维,是指大脑在思维时呈现的一种扩散状态的思维模式,它表现为思维视野广阔,思维呈现出多维发散状,具有灵活性独特性和流畅性的特点,可以让人突破习惯思维的制产生新的构想,提出新的方法,并使人在较短的时间内产生较多的联想。在英语语言教学过程中,要尽可能为学生创造展示发散性思维的机会,让学由被动转变为主动学习,从而提高学生的学习效率和教师的教学质量。
