“八五”计划期间(1991—1995年),是上海改革开放和现代化建设事业取得巨大发展的时期.在“八五”即将过去,“九五”即将到来之际,上海市统计局利用所掌握的统计资料,初步整理了上海市“八五”时期上海经济发展回顾,形成了一个系列(共九篇)的简要统计分析材料,本刊分二期刊载,供广大读者了解上海近年来改革开放和经济建设的伟大成就,进一步坚定对改革开放和社会主义建设的信心.
