原生态包装设计,是以“自然为本”的人与设计,与自然与生态和谐共处的本质表现。从达尔文的《物种起源》开始,造物者便使自然与物种之间有了紧密不分的联系。众所周知,生物的进化是通过自然选择的方式进行的,而包装设计的形式在时间的沉淀过程中与时俱进,也是以一种自然选择的方式,逐渐改变它原有的外形,并以一种适应社会,适应自然,脱胎换骨的形式出现在人类的视线中,这种形态我们统一称它为原生态包装设计,也叫做绿色包装设计。
