普林斯頓大學東亞圖書館,原名葛思德東方圖書館(The Gest Oriental Library),中文古籍來源較爲單純,大部分爲20世紀初美國海軍退役軍官義理壽(I.V.Gillis,1875—1948)為其東主葛思德(Guion Moore Gest,1864—1948)在中國購買。2000年,以新購中日韓書籍日增,改名東亞圖書館及葛思德文庫(The East Asian Library and the Gest Collection,Princeton University Library),簡稱東亞圖書館。
The Princeton University East Asia Library, formerly known as The Gest Oriental Library, has a relatively simple source of ancient Chinese books, most of which was owned by IV Gillis (1875-1948), the retired military officer of the U.S. Navy at the beginning of the 20th century. In 2000, the newly purchased books of China, Japan and South Korea increased, renamed the East Asian Library and the Gesture Library (The East Asian Library and the Gest Collection, Princeton University Library), referred to as the East Asian Library.
