一九九六年十月全国人大常委会颁布了《老年人权益保障法》,这部法律的颁布实施,极大地保障了老年人的合法权益,有力地促进和发展了老龄事业,弘扬了中华民族敬老养老的传统美德。为了继续深入贯彻《老年人权益保障法》,使全社会更加重视做好这一工作,近期我同县民政局、老龄办的同志先后深入石门、石坡、景村、古城、四皓、城关等乡(镇)和城关、柏槐、四皓的连河、石坡街、刘塬等部分村组进行了调查了解,从调查情况看,我县在学习贯彻老年人权益保障法和老龄工作等方面做了大量工作,取得了显著成效。
