Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a protein modification, folding and intracellular storage of Ca2 +, plays an important role in signal transduction, is to maintain an important part of the internal environment. When the endoplasmic reticulum pathways are disrupted, such as regulatory protein folding, post-translational modifications, lipid and steroid synthesis, gene expression, cellular metabolism, calcium signaling, and misfolded protein accumulation in the ER lumen eventually lead to the endoplasmic reticulum Endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS). Currently ERS in neurons, myocardium, liver, pancreatic cells in the pathogenesis of more research on reproductive-related heavy metals rarely. Therefore, the research on the occurrence and mechanism of reproductive ERS caused by lead and cadmium is of great significance for the development of new strategies for the prevention of pathological pregnancy, restriction of fetal growth and related diseases such as embryology and effective preventive measures.
