张小虞现担任中国机械工业联合会副会长、中国汽车工程学会理事长、中国内燃机学会理事长、全国工商联汽摩配商会名誉会长、中国汽车工业协会名誉理事长。他毕业于清华大学汽车拖拉机专业;曾先后担任中国汽车工业公司、中国汽车工业联合会、中国汽车工业总公司的规划司司长,机械工业部汽车工业司司长,国家机械工业局副局长。他长期从事我国汽车行业的产业规划、科技发展、决策研究、政策制定、项目实施等多方面的领导工作,卓有贡献。
Zhang Xiaoyu now serves as vice president of China Machinery Industry Federation, chairman of China Society of Automotive Engineering, China Internal Combustion Engineers Association, honorary president of the National Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Industry Association, honorary chairman of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. He graduated from Tsinghua University with a major in automobile tractors. He has successively served as director of the planning department of China Automotive Industry Corporation, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, China National Automotive Industry Corporation, director of the Automotive Industry Department of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and deputy director of the State Bureau of Machinery Industry. He has long been engaged in many aspects of leadership in industrial planning, technological development, decision-making research, policy formulation and project implementation in China’s automobile industry and has made great contributions.
