稀土是我国富有资源。通常以混合稀土化合物形式存在。但现在用来鉴定物相的ASTM卡片只有单一稀土元素化合物。因此在准确鉴定混合稀土化合物的物相工作中,有时会遇到一些困难。大冶钢厂曾对钢中铝酸稀土、稀土氧化物、稀土硫氧化合物、稀土硫化物的鉴定提出过报告。其他单位也有类似的报告。但混合稀土化合物标样的完整X射线衍射及岩相分析资料。尚无报导。为了准确无误地鉴定钢中稀土夹杂,我们结合包头矿稀土元素含量的实际比例,制备了一些混合稀土化合物标样。加上实际工作中遇到的一些混合稀土化合物。
