ICs for LCD and CCFL Contrast Control Linear Technology Pte Ltd’s LT1182 and LT1183 are dual switching regulators that provide contrast control for LCD and CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamps). An oscillation frequency of 200kHz reduces the size of the magnetic parts, while a low 4.5mA supply current and a 40μA shutdown current extend battery life.
