[Background] Xiangtan Electric Power Bureau was established in October 1978, the original value of fixed assets 1.748 billion yuan, net worth 1.188 billion yuan. The council has been honored as “the Advanced Unit of Civilization Construction” awarded by Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government for 14 consecutive years. It has been awarded as “Double Civilization Unit” by State Power Company and Hunan Provincial Electric Power Company for five consecutive years.
