据1942年王成发教授之研究报告,我国健康成人平均每公斤体重每日需要维生素C0.7—0.79毫克,若按60公斤计,每日则需42—47.4毫克。又据杨恩孚教授等观察,每人每日若能真正摄取维生素 C 25毫克,临床上就不致出现缺乏症象。然而1949—1954年间,我军历次膳食营养调查,结果平均每人每日摄取的维生素 C 为89毫克,若与上述情况相此,此种供给状况,可算是相当充裕的,但与此同时,经五千多人营养缺乏病检查,却发现患有维生素 C 缺乏症象的,占总人数的30.85%。1954—1955
