敦煌艺术是集建筑、彩塑、壁画于一体的综合艺术,其历史悠久、内涵深邃、艺术精美,是我国乃至世界佛教艺术的瑰宝,在中国文化史以至世界文化史上具有重要的地位,敦煌文化遗产因此也被列为世界文化遗产。以往敦煌艺术保护采取了传统手工临摹、借助摄影、摄像器材数字化保存、建立虚拟参观游览系统等方法,虽取得了一定的成果,但是也都存在遗憾和不足。电脑三维再现艺术的出现为敦煌艺术的保护和弘扬提供了新的思路和方法。
Dunhuang Art is an integrated art integrating architecture, painting and frescoes. Its history is long, its connotation is exquisite and its art is exquisite.
